It might seem risky for a successful designer of customized furniture to change course, but I have always believed in pursuing my dreams. In this case, it meant going back to school for cooking studies, with just a few bits of basic equipment: my love for cooking, the family tradition (the original “Meraklis” with the famous cheese pies at Sofokleous St was my grandfather) and a generous shot of optimism…
The love for cooking was directed into studies, and then perfected in practice in France. Working in restaurants such as Le Saint Fiacre, La Bourgogne, Le Castel de Très Girard and Le Pré aux Clercs (awarded with a star by the Michelin guide), was a valuable experience for my professional evolution, as I was under the guidance of top Chefs such as Jean Pierre Billoux, Stéphane Galliardo, Franck Schmit and the top baker in Burgundy, Patrick Fremont.
Upon my return to Greece, I worked as a Chef in yachts. This gave me the opportunity to indulge into the gastronomy of the Aegean, but most importantly, it shaped my identity as a Chef and essentially created … my kitchen!
In my kitchen, my team and I wish to cater you with creations inspired by the Mediterranean which will surprise you, seduce you, and make you visit us again.
